- Received an offer through the post or over the telephone
- Had to sign or give your consent over the phone
- Had the option to choose cover for yourself or you and your partner
- Had the option to choose your benefit level

Most commonly, you would be paying from your bank account to Avon Insurance.
What you may get…

If you see a small sum of money coming out of your account each month, don’t worry. This is the Personal Accident Cover that was taken out when you purchased home or vehicle insurance.
When you took out home or vehicle insurance online or over the telephone there was an option to take out additional Personal Accident Cover. This would have been offered by your insurer as part of their sales process in the "cover extras" part of the application. The first 6 months will have been free and then you pay a small sum per month thereafter to continue the cover.
This is a separate product that is not linked to your home or vehicle insurance and can continue even if you decide to cancel or not renew your main insurance.
What's covered?
If the insured were to have a serious accident, Personal Accident Cover could make a real difference to them and their family by paying out:
✔ A lump sum in case of permanent total disability
✔ A lump sum in case of accidental death
✔ A daily cash benefit if you are hospitalised as a result of an accident (up to a maximum of 270 days)
If you have any further questions or would like to speak to one of our customer services representatives please contact us.
Avon Insurance is a third party insurer that underwrites the Personal Accident Cover only.
The policy will have been offered to you and set up by your home or vehicle insurer who have passed your details to Avon Insurance to collect premiums for them on their behalf. If you would like to know more about our company then you can find out in the about us section of this website.
These policies were sold by the original insurer.
